Went here yesterday to sell some of kids' old ornaments. Siljo, who manages this place is well mannered and friendly. This was a hassle free experience.
At first he told me that board rate for new gold for the day is 5,390 per gram whereas he would be taking old gold for 5,250. I handed over the ornaments and on weighing it was 15 gms. Then the purity was assured by using the purity analyser. After that the ornaments were heated and checked. Then the weight was again checked which showed 15 again. Then the payment of 78,750 was made without any further deductions. This was easy and cool.
I have seen places were buyers try to put demands and cunningly try to reduce rates. But, this place is legit, fast and professional.
